From all this brown
All this grey

From these haggard people
Who all obey
Automatic dictates of an amorphous mass
They can't name.
Take me away
Let me escape
I dream of a place
Where the sun fades misery
To a bearable state
Where laughter dances
On its own mistakes
And love blankets all
With gentle petals of grace.
